“Revenue Estimating: Evolving Toward Conflict or Consensus?
The Tax Foundation held its 41st Annual Conference in New York City the afternoon of November 29, 1989. The subjects we chose to address — one domestic issue, revenue estimation, and one international issue, taxation of multinationals — are ones that the TaxA tax is a mandatory payment or charge collected by local, state, and national governments from individuals or businesses to cover the costs of general government services, goods, and activities. Foundation feels need more attention from the fiscal policy community.
