Tax Foundation Europe Opens in Brussels

Please join Tax Foundation for an exclusive, in-person launch event on 22 February 2024 in Brussels, Belgium, to celebrate the inauguration of Tax Foundation Europe.

We are thrilled to unveil Tax Foundation Europe’s forthcoming research agenda and feature a virtual address from Paschal Donohoe, President of the Eurogroup and Irish Minister for Public Expenditure, National Development Plan Delivery and Reform.

Mr. Donohoe’s remarks will focus on budgetary coordination in the Euro area and will be followed by a panel discussion on the role of think tanks in Brussels, featuring several of today’s leading experts in the space, including:

• Gerassimos Thomas, Director-General in the Directorate-General for Taxation and Customs Union, European Commission
• Erle Kõomets, Director Tax and Customs Policy, Estonian Ministry of Finance
• Edwin Visser, Dep. Global Tax Policy leader, PwC

The panel will be moderated by Todd Buell, Editor-at-Large at Law360.

We will conclude with a reception, including cocktails and light hors d’oeuvres, where we invite you to meet the Tax Foundation Europe team and connect with our esteemed guests.
