The Tax Foundation and Tax Policy Center are co-hosting a special event featuring the newly appointed Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers, Kevin Hassett.
Chairman Hassett’s discussion will focus on the fiscal outlook of the United States and the prospects for tax reform. His speech will be followed by a moderated audience Q&A session with Scott Hodge, President of the Tax Foundation.
The Chair of the Council of Economic Advisers reports to President Trump on a wide range of economic issues. In this role, the Chair leads a staff of distinguished economists from academic, policy, and government backgrounds. Prior to serving as the chairman of the CEA, Hassett was the State Farm James Q. Wilson Chair in American Politics and Culture and Director of Research for Domestic Policy at the American Enterprise Institute.
