Liz Emanuel
Policy Intern, Summer 2014
Liz is currently a rising senior at Wake Forest University pursuing a B.A. in Economics and Politics and International Affairs. While she was studying abroad in London last fall, Liz interned with Ms. Claire Perry, Conservative Member of Parliament and Government Assistant Whip. In the summer of 2013, Liz worked with the millennial-based campaign The Can Kicks Back, conducting fiscal policy research to educate the youth on the detrimental future effects of the federal government’s growing national debt. She is also a member of American Enterprise Institute’s Student Executive Council, Omicron Delta Epsilon Economics Honor Society, Pi Sigma Alpha Politics Honor Society, Golden Key International Honour Society, and serves as treasurer of the Wake Forest Women’s Club Soccer team. Upon graduation next year, Liz hopes to continue working in public policy research in Washington, D.C. before possibly pursuing a graduate degree in economics.
