Katelynn Barbosa is the Director of Donor Engagement at the Tax Foundation, where she builds strong relationships with supporters and uncovers new opportunities for them to advance the Foundation’s mission.
Before joining the Tax Foundation, Katelynn worked in fundraising for a taxpayer advocacy organization and held roles in recruiting, career counseling, and litigation, formerly practicing law as a constitutional lawyer who, in the course of her work, sued the government.
She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Chicago Law School and holds a BA from the University of San Diego.
Outside of work, Katelynn is a devoted (if average) powerlifter, an unapologetic Denver Broncos and tennis fanatic, and a relentless consumer of live stand-up comedy. She lives in Carpentersville, IL with her husband and two daughters, Stella and Roxy.
