John Murrill
Research Software Developer
John Murrill is a Research Software Developer at the Tax Foundation, working on federal tax policy and model development. He maintains the Taxes and Growth Model and builds out new features to model additional policies, behaviors, and taxes.
John previously worked as a Business Intelligence Developer and Software Developer in the health care and health insurance space with a focus on population health. He has also worked as a Research Assistant at the Economic Science Institute. John holds an MS in economic systems design and a BS in computer science, both from Chapman University. He currently lives in Baton Rouge.
