Prof. Dr. Dominika Langenmayr

Dominika Langenmayr is Professor of Economics, esp. Public Finance, at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt in southern Germany.

She is also a guest professor at WU Vienna University of Economics and Business, where she is part of the DIBT – Doctoral Program in International Business Taxation, and a CESifo research fellow. Her research focuses on various aspects of taxation, including tax avoidance by multinational firms, the tax treatment of losses, and individual tax evasion. Her recent work examines topics such as the impact of citizenship-by-investment programs on tax evasion, the incidence of digital service taxes, and the effects of tax policies on firm productivity. She has published her research in the Journal of International Economics, Journal of Public Economics, and European Economic Review, among others. She is a member of the scientific advisory board at the German Ministry of Finance. Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung counted her among the top 100 most influential economists in Germany, and Capital magazine included her in their 2021 “40 under 40” list.
