Testimony: Start-ups Stalling? The Tax Code as a Barrier to Entrepreneurship

Chairman Steve Chabot has scheduled a hearing of the Committee on Small Business titled, “Start-ups Stalling? The Tax Code as a Barrier to Entrepreneurship.”

The Tax Foundation’s own Director of Federal Projects, Kyle Pomerleau, will begin the program with testimony on some of the biggest tax issues facing new businesses today including depreciation and full expensing, the treatment of net operating losses, the high marginal rates facing many pass-through businesses, and more.

The hearing is scheduled to begin at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 in Room 2360 of the Rayburn House Office Building.
