A Modern Tax Code for the Modern Family

As legislators continue to plan a major overhaul of the U.S. federal tax system, it’s important we consider the impact it might have on real families.

The “Modern Family” of 2017 is far different than the “Leave it to Beaver” TV families of the 1950’s that the current tax code was designed around. Is it possible to simplify our outmoded tax code to accommodate today’s complex family situations? Can it be done in a way that’s both efficient and equitable?

To shed light on this challenging topic, on Monday, March 27 at 12:00 p.m. we’re bringing together, with the help of Intuit Tax & Financial Center, some of today’s leading tax policy minds:

The discussion will be moderated by Scott Hodge, President of the Tax Foundation.

Also, as if tax policy wasn’t already exciting enough, the event will feature catering from Chick-fil-A! Space is limited, so if you plan on attending the event in person, register early!
