Federal Tax Reform: The Impact on States

We’re now on the cusp of the first federal tax overhaul since 1986. Both President Trump and House Republicans have released tax plans that would make major changes to taxes for both individuals and businesses.

But, federal tax reform doesn’t just affect the federal government and its revenue collections. States, many of which use the federal code as a basis for their own, would also see their budgets impacted.

Earlier this month, we released a comprehensive guide for federal and state policymakers to better understand the effects federal tax reform might have on states.

Join us on Friday, March 24 at 12:00 p.m., for an exclusive panel where today’s leading tax policy experts will further discuss this complicated issue and provide insight as to what federal and state legislators should expect, and how they can plan for a successful policy transition.

The discussion will be moderated by Scott Hodge, President of the Tax Foundation.

Also, as if tax policy wasn’t already exciting enough, the event will feature catering from Chick-fil-A! Space is limited, so if you plan on attending the event in person, register early!
