Yesterday was Tax Day and Tax Freedom Day for Washington State

Tax Freedom Day—the date on which Americans have earned enough to pay this year’s tax obligations at the federal, state and local levels—ironically fell on Tax Day, April 15th, for residents of Washington State, ranking it 5th highest in the nation. This is 6 days after national Tax Freedom Day (April 9).
The Tax Freedom Days of neighboring states were: Idaho, April 8 (ranked 22nd) and Oregon, April 8 (ranked 20th).
