Wall Street Journal’s Stephen Moore on the Politics of Federal Tax Reform

September 12, 2006

The Tax Foundation has released the sixth episode of its “Tax Policy Podcast”, featuring an interview with economist Stephen Moore, editorial board member of the Wall Street Journal.

“The real burden of the corporate income tax is not born by corporations, but rather the workers who work for those companies,” said Moore. “If we’re ever going to see fundamental reform, it’s going to be driven in part by workers who say, ‘Wait a minute, why are we trying to hurt our companies and put them at a disadvantage versus Japan, the Korea, and China?'”
