How does Wyoming’s tax code compare? Wyoming does not have an individual income tax. Wyoming also does not have a corporate income tax. Wyoming has a 4.00 percent state sales tax, a max local sales tax rate of 2.00 percent, and an average combined state and local sales tax rate of 5.22 percent. Wyoming’s tax system ranks 1st overall on our 2022 State Business Tax Climate Index.
