Operations Assistant Role Overview The Tax Foundation is seeking a hard-working, detail-oriented individual to serve as their Operations Assistant. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in a prior administrative or support role. This individual is a self-starter who has an interest in establishing a career path in the free market non-profit space, believes strongly in the Tax Foundation mission, and has the drive, attention to detail, and skillset to help keep the organization and its executive leadership running efficiently. This is a full-time in-office position located in Washington, DC. Duties & Responsibilities Support all operations and administrative functions for Tax Foundation. Support the President & CEO in scheduling and travel logistics. Oversee administration, including office space, building maintenance coordination, and supplies and inventory. Maintain inventory documents for technology and supplies. Manage all vendor and subscription accounts, including standardizing payment methods and contact profiles. Coordinate organization-wide activities, including internal meetings and special events. Support the entire staff by interfacing with external technology and human resources service providers. Assist in accounts receivable and credit reconciliation tasks. Develop a strong, operational partnership with the President and Executive Team. Other office administrative duties as assigned or needed. Qualifications & Requirements At least 2 years experience in a prior administrative or support role. Display strong organization, relationship management, and communication skills. Demonstrate abilities to independently prioritize project deadlines. Strong ability to communicate (written and verbal) effectively with all levels of an organization. Must have a collaborative mindset and approach. Maintain a positive and service-oriented attitude.
