BEPS Measures and Real Economic Activities

Presented by the European Tax Policy Forum and the Tax Foundation

The recent work plan put forth by the OECD Inclusive Framework on Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) acknowledges that reaching a consensus on taxing the digital economy will require “early political steer informed by economic analysis and impact assessment of the possible designs of a solution.”

On 26 June, we will bring together the top economists in their field for an exclusive discussion of the economics of BEPS and how these measures could impact businesses and economic activity. Could they affect location decisions? Foreign direct investment? Cross-border capital flows? Economic growth? And what do these answers tell us about the latest OECD Pillar One and Pillar Two proposals?

Please join us to hear the answers to these questions and to join in this important discussion. The conference is free, but space is limited, so please RSVP here.  Questions should be directed to Scott Hodge, hodge@taxfoundation.org.
