Education Revenue by County

Given the recent popularity of our posting of county-level property tax data, we have compiled another table courtesy of the U.S. Department of Education’s National Center for Educational Statistics (NCES) that looks at education revenue in each county for FY 2004. Many have requested data that looks at the role property taxes play in education. This table gives data pertaining to what accounts for education revenue across different counties. What counties’ school districts rely most heavily on the federal government for funding? Which counties’ school systems rely most heavily on property taxes? This table will answer those questions and more.
