Brian Phillips

Brian Phillips is the Manager of Media Relations at the Tax Foundation. He works closely with local, national and international broadcast media outlets to ensure sensible, simple, and fair tax policy is represented in the public debate. Phillips coordinates outreach to news organizations to promote Tax Foundation products and projects. Before coming to the Tax Foundation, Phillips was the Media Services Administrator at The Heritage Foundation. He has given lectures on political communication and hosted a weekly radio program. Phillips has a B.A. in Government from The University of Texas at Austin.
