Richard Borean


Director of Communications

Richard develops and implements strategies to promote the Tax Foundation’s research and analysis with the media and other targeted audiences in order to shape the debate on tax policy and reform at the federal, state, and local levels.

Richard first joined the Tax Foundation as an intern in January of 2012 and was subsequently hired as a communications associate later that year. In the fall of 2013, Richard took on the position of Communications Manager. Prior to joining the Tax Foundation, he attended George Mason University, where he received a B.A. in English/Linguistics.
