Ohioans See Less in Their Paychecks

One post below is our podcast about Ohio Governor Ted Strickland's proposal to freeze an income tax cut that otherwise will take effect this year.

Meanwhile, workers in Columbus, Ohio will see their paychecks a little smaller this week. The 0.5% increase in the city's income tax began on October 1; the city's tax now stands at 2.5%, on top of state and federal taxes. Note: you don't have to pay if you are a member of the General Assembly or work for it.
