This week I talked with economist David Henderson for the Tax Policy Podcast, in which he discussed the U.S. debt crisis and what we can learn from how Canada handled its own looming fiscal catastrophe in the mid-1990s. His recent research, published by the Mercatus Center earlier this year, offers several policy suggestions that U.S. lawmakers could use to help alleviate the current deficit problems.
