Minnesota, Vermont, Virginia, and Pennsylvania Celebrate Tax Freedom Day

Tax Freedom Day—the date on which Americans have earned enough to pay this year's tax obligations at the federal, state and local levels—falls on April 13, 2010 for residents of Minnesota (8th), Vermont (9th), Virginia (10th), and Pennsylvania (11th). The date for America on whole was April 9, 2010.

Residents of these state worked 103 days into the year in order to earn enough money to pay their combined federal, state and local taxes, four days longer than the national average of 99 days.
