Help Us Carry Momentum in to 2017

Yesterday was Giving Tuesday, but the giving season has just begun. If you love our blog, we hope you’ll consider making a special year-end gift to support the Tax Foundation's work in 2017.

As 2016 comes to a close, we're taking a look back at what has been our most exciting year to date! At the national level, the tax reform debate is in full swing with the prospects of tax reform growing in 2017. Our analysis of these potential reforms has been featured in thousands of news stories as the new Congress and president prepare to lead.

On the state policy front, policymakers across the country are moving forward with reforms that improve the simplicity, neutrality, and transparency of state codes. From new reports like Arkansas: A Road Map for Tax Reform to our annual State Business Tax Climate Index, taxpayers and policymakers alike continue to rely on our research for guidance on what constitutes smart tax policy.

We’ve released more than 50 reports, books, and interactive tools to keep taxpayers informed, professionals up to date, and policymakers educated. We’ve traveled to 30+ states to present and testify on everything from budget shortfalls to fundamental tax reform. We’ve been cited more than 31,000 in the media and have consistently been featured in the nation’s largest news publications.

Any way you cut it, it’s been a bold and exciting year for us, but none of it would be possible without the dedicated support of our subscribers and donors. This giving season, we hope you’ll consider supporting our efforts to carry this momentum into 2017.

From all of us here at the Tax Foundation, thank you!
